European Serin - Serinus Serinus
In the European Serin male and female we can recognize them simply by the very strong charge of lipocrome, in the male and almost absent, in the female except for head and part of the chest.
Habitath: we can find this joyful finch all over Europe, in some parts of Africa. It mostly loves flat or hilly areas composed of wooded areas that are not too thick, bushy areas and it is now found even among houses in more urban areas.
Feeding: it feeds almost entirely on the seeds of herbaceous plants and sometimes on arboreal seeds such as alder or willow. If you decide to raise some little greens, give them a mixture of 50% mixed canary very light and 50% mixed with seed seeds.
