Protector against bacteria and mould
PROTECTOR Pineta Zootecnici is a liquid which, added to the germination solution, helps to inhibit the proliferation of bacteria and fungi and reduce the risk of food poisoning in birds fed with treated seeds.
For ornithological breeding, germinated seeds represent an excellent and important food to be administered to birds during the reproductive period. They are highly palatable and the nutritional factors they provide are capable of promoting the start of reproduction and encouraging the feeding of the chicks by the parents. It is essential to remember that germinated seeds also represent a source of disease if not correctly managed. In particular in the preparation phase, during which the seeds are wetted and incubated for relatively long times, situations favorable to bacterial and fungal proliferation can be created with possible negative consequences on the health of birds fed with these germinated products. Evaluating the need to limit these risks, Pineta Laboratories have formulated and developed a new product to try to contain microbial proliferation during the germination phases.
